Junior Finals Days
The red, orange and green ball junior championships took place on Saturday, 23 June and saw some great and highly competitive tennis. The weather was kind and all matches were completed! The coach Steve Ashton commented that he was very impressed with all the children and could see great improvement in their game since their last tournament. The 4-8 year group had four competitors who fought hard for the red ball trophy and in the end James Knox came out on top against Marli Maddick in the final. Michael Lambourne was the winner of the orange ball trophy beating Harry Gordon in a close three setter and Curtis Garnsworthy won the green ball final in a tight full set match against Jack Gordon 6-4.
