We are a friendly village tennis club situated just north of Exeter at The Recreation Ground, Station Rd, Newton St Cyres, EX5 5AT.
Whether you want to play tennis in the top divisions of the local leagues or are just after a bit of social tennis, we can offer both.
Would-be members can try up to three club sessions at £3 each before committing themselves to joining the club. Contact our membership secretary Laura for more info (details on the MEMBERSHIP page).

Coaching
Adult coaching, both individual and group, is provided by Jon Wills. Our junior coaching programme is delivered by James Temple and runs on Wednesday afternoons.
Club Tennis
There are several club sessions during the week as well as various regular group sessions organised by club members themselves. We also run Rusty Rackets on selected Saturday mornings. See our CLUB SESSIONS page for more details of when these take place.
Juniors
We have a strong tradition of junior coaching and encourage juniors to get involved in league matches and other club activities. Check out the JUNIORS page for more information.
League Tennis
For the more competitive we have several adult teams in local leagues, with Mixed A regularly competing in the top division of the East Devon Tennis League. Find out more about our teams currently competing on the LEAGUE page.
Racket Stringing and Balls
The club provides a racket stringing service (to members only) courtesy of Jon. Members can also buy tennis balls at very competitive prices.
Events and Competitions
Several events, both social and competitive, take place at the club throughout the year. Members can take part in the club championships, the spring/autumn challenge or American tournaments. For photos from our past events take a look at the EVENTS ARCHIVE. We also run a SINGLES LADDER.
Ball Machine
The club has a ball machine, which our members can use free of charge following induction. To find out more about the ball machine and how to use it, take a look at the BALL MACHINE page.
LTA Affiliation
The club is affiliated to the Lawn Tennis Association, which means our members can register for free British Tennis Membership. This entitles them to enter the special LTA ballot for Wimbledon tickets.
