In the last match of the day between Jana and Frederiek we trialed a new handicap system. Frederiek started each game 30:0 up! It made it much more interesting for everyone and so we decided between the four of us (and Sarah, who came to watch and support the singles event) that this is definitely the way forward! So from now on, the Singles will be “Handicap Singles” to make it more even and exciting for everyone involved.

This was a bit of a funny one 🙂 The plan was to do a round robin. However…it was VERY hot that Sunday morning and after the first two singles, which went on forever (or so it seemed to all of us), we were all absolutely knackered! So we decided to play a decisive doubles and use the results of the singles and doubles to determine positions and allocate points.
