Devon Women’s Doubles Runners Up

Juliet and Jana took part in the Women’s Doubles of the Devon Senior County Closed Championships at the Nuffield Devonshire Tennis Centre in Plymouth on Saturday 12th November. They beat Ruby Watson and Georgia Coppola 6-2 6-1 in the semis to make their way through to the final. The final was a great match to watch, with many deuces and rallies, but in the end the number 1 seeds Jessica Johnson and Sophie Ryland proved too strong for our girls, beating them 6-2 6-3. Well done girls 🙂
