Doubles now permitted

We’re pleased that the LTA, in line with the new Government regulations, is advising that doubles play can now be resumed, as long as we observe social distancing and sanitise hands before and after play. But we think it prudent, for the moment, to keep the clubhouse closed.

Club sessions will resume as normal, with session organisers facilitating the play. And for those not yet ready to play doubles, please tell the organiser who will accommodate singles, if possible.
From Thursday there will some tubes of balls for club sessions in the cool box, or players can bring their own. And a reminder – there is no water available.
If there happens to be a large number of players at a club session, and you have to wait for a set, please don’t congregate: sit apart and take care it doesn’t start resembling a ‘social’ event (!) – beer is probably out – sorry!!

The Monday, Wednesday and Thursday informal group sessions will be facilitated, as before, by the organisers.

It is the responsibility of each player to make his/her own risk-assessment and act accordingly.

Thank you for your patience and co-operation during the past couple of weeks.

Enjoy some glorious doubles.
