AGM HAS BEEN CANCELLED
Dear Members,
You are cordially invited to attend the 2020 AGM of Newton St Cyres Tennis Club, to be held on Monday the 23rd March, 7pm, at The Stables, Cowley.
Following the hut refurb in 2018 and the toilet project in 2019, we’re planning 2020 to be the year of court re-surfacing, and, hopefully, lighting upgrade too; an up-date will be given at the AGM.
So – lots of money being spent, which highlights the pressing need to increase the membership. At last year’s AGM, we were pleased to hear your thoughts about installing a toilet (and acted on it). This year, we’re asking you to bring along suggestions about ways of attracting new members.
The Wimbledon draw will be held at the end of business.
The meeting will be followed, as last year, by a supper and a chance to socialise. We’ve gone for a hot meal again this year:
Turkey Curry or Vegetable Chilli (V) with Rice.
The cost is £9.90 per head. We get the room free, provided we have 25 takers for supper, so I’m hoping we get many more takers than that, as we did last year.
